Job Description

As a nurse in Köping Municipality, you work independently but in close collaboration with colleagues, care staff, rehabilitation, and doctors. In Köping, we have night duty operations, where you as a nurse, together with a colleague, are responsible for our patients at Säbo/LSS/Social Psychiatry and Home Healthcare. We also collaborate with the AH team and accept assignments via 1177.

Good collaboration is a basic prerequisite in our operations. Within municipal healthcare, we work in cross-professional teams, where nurses, nursing staff, rehabilitation, and managers collaborate with a common focus on the patient's needs. Collegial support, dialogue, and knowledge exchange are a natural part of everyday life.

External collaboration is equally important. We have close cooperation with the region's primary care, hospitals, assistance managers, and other external actors to ensure safe and coherent care.

Your tasks may include among other things:

• Assessment, planning, and follow-up of healthcare interventions.
• Medication management and coordination regarding the patient and contact with relatives.
• Guidance and support for nursing staff.
• Documentation according to current legislation.

Qualifications

You are a registered nurse. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, are responsible, flexible, and have a professional attitude. As a person, you thrive with independent work and collaboration in a team.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required as driving is part of the job.

Experience in municipal care is meritorious.
